Doctor Gregory Kyriakou was born in Athens –Greece in 1959.

In 1984 he completed his studies in Medicine with excellence at the Medical University of Iasi in Romania. He continued his studies in New York, U.S.A and other European cities such as Glasgow, Brussels and Amsterdam. Returning to Greece, he completed his training in General Surgery and Oncology, which he practices until today.

During his specialty residence, he has worked in many public hospitals, but also in private hospitals in Greece and abroad (USA, UK, Netherlands). He is currently a medical associate in many private Greek Hospitals , along with his private practice.

Dr Kyriakou is an aircraft pilot and since 1991 he combined his Degree in Medicine with his love for flying by specializing in Aviation Medicine and Aerospace Physiology.

In 1997 he established an Aeromedical services / Air Ambulance company –GAMMA AIR MEDICAL– based in Athens, Greece. The main objective of the company has always been the safe transportation of people suffering (bedside to bedside) ensuring the best possible medical evacuations – specialist doctors and nursing staff, properly equipped means of transportation (ground, air or water) and adequate medical supplies. As the Managing Director he is in charge of, in some cases, very difficult air ambulance transfers globally.

Dr. Kyriakou is, among others, a member of: Athens Medical Society, Board of Directors of the European AeroMedical Institute, AsMA (Aerospace Medical Association), and ESSO (European Society of Surgical Oncology).
