Asklepieia started at the end of 2019 as a collaborative innovation formation with the object of Health Tourism, being a substantially organized and coordinated extroversion action in the field of Health in our country. It consists of health service providers, businesses in the sector of health and tourism and technology companies and aspires to create through these collaborative and concerted efforts the conditions that will make Greece a destination for millions of health and wellness travelers.
In September 2020, Asklepieia’s three-year Business Plan for the development of Health and Wellness tourism in Greece won the second place in the initiative “Promoting Entrepreneurship through the creation of collaborative innovation formations in the Attica region”, securing 55% funding of the Business Plan from the European Regional Development fund. This would not have been possible without the collaboration of other organizations who share our passion and commitment to promoting health tourism in Greece.
In September 2022, Asklepieia successfully joined the Elevate Greece start-up register by filing an update of its Business Plan with a provision for expanding its activities in European countries.

1) Emergency medical care with a comprehensive emergency response system for visitors to our country
2) The presentation of selected medical wellness packages that include a combination of medical services which are available both to visitors of our country and to Greek prospective clients.
3) The promotion of classic medical tourism by promoting selected health providers in the field of Dentistry, Plastic Surgery, Dermatology and Assisted Reproduction.
