Asklepieon of Crete

Asklepieon of Crete is a high-standard diagnostic, therapeutic, surgical & research medical center, that operates in a completely renovated building in the center of the city of Heraklion (8th Zografou Street) and is equipped with the latest state of the art medical technology to ensure high quality diagnostic and invasive services.

The Asclepieion of Crete renews every year its equipment with every new and necessary medical machine.

The Asclepieion of Crete performs the modern medicine and operates with the humanitarian principles of Asclepius and Hippocrates and the traditional Greek hospitality. It has a capacity of 60 beds, has 3 operating rooms, 2 ICU beds, septic surgery and delivery room. It also has an equipped ambulance on a 24-hour basis with an accompanying doctor and/or nurse who is able to offer first aid on the way to the Hospital.
