- Accreditation according to the International Standard ISO/IEC 15189:2012. from Hellenic Accreditation System E.SY.D for the following fields:
General Hematology (determination of 11 parameters) including morphology of blood films, Clinical Chemistry (determination of 23 parameters), Immunochemical testing (allergen-specific IgE), Hormones, Cancer Markers, Vitamins. We are in a contiuous procedure of accreditation of more fields.
- ISO certification according to the international standard ISO 9001:2015, since 2007, applied to all of our fields
- Continuous daily internal checks and participation to national & international external Quality Assessment schemes
Our services keep very high standards, matching the medical needs which are very demanding:
Biomedicin is the first lab in Greece, that has accreditation for Immunochemical testing (Quantitative measurment of allergen-specific IgE for testing allergens according to the current list of THERMO Scientific). It is the reference method and the only method approved by the European & Greek Allergy & Clinical Immunology Society.
Our lab has the most reliable medical equipment (glogal level) such as: VIDAS 3 – BIOMERIEUX (reference method for TORCH), VITEK-2 BIOMERIEUX (identification an susceptibility with MIC), G7-TOSOH (HPLC – reference method for HbA1C). PHADIA 250 – Thermoscientific (specific IgEs)
We also specialize on the appliance of STAMEY-MEARES method, the most effective method – referred as “gold standard” – for the diagnosis of prostatitis. More than 9.000 samples for patients from all over Greece.
