Iatropolis Medical Group is a unique private medical centre that combines non invasive modern Treatment methods and state of the art full spectrum Imaging technologies. It was founded in 1986 in Athens were the first MRI scanner was installed and for many years it was the one and only in Greece.

Since then over 25 top-of-the-line MRI and CT scanners are in operation, among them 12 (twelve) – 3 Tesla MRI and 9 (nine) – 256-128 slice CT scanners.

TomoTherapy

Accurate, Effective, Customised.

The only radiotherapeutic assembly with a built-in CT scanner to treat the entire spectrum of patients that undergo radiotherapy.

It offers highly accurate 3D dose distribution with a single 360-degree rotation of the linear accelerator, in a very short period of time (10-15 minutes), while protecting healthy tissue adjacent to the lesion through a patient-friendly treatment process.

CyberKnife

The first to be installed in Greece operates in IATROPOLIS since 2006 and has treated more than 8500 patient with great success.

The most advanced stereotactic radiosurgery (SRS) system. It is a completely non-invasive procedure and in many cases the only solution to patients where conventional surgery is impossible.

Cyberknife is applicable to every part of the body while the most common ailments treated are intracranial metastatic tumors, meningiomas, vestibular schwanommas (or acoustic neuromas), arteriovenous malformations (AVMs), arteriovenous fistulas, trigeminal neuralgia and many others.

PET-CT

Overcoming the limitations of earlier generation PET-CT scanners, the Biograph mCT Flow scanner has brought about a revolution in molecular imaging technology Thanks to its innovative operating mode, which performs examinations with a single scan over only a few minutes, the PET CT Biograph mCT Flow maximizes image quality while minimizing patient radiation and multiplying the clinical benefits for patients.

RADIOIODINE I-131 THERAPY

Radioiodine therapy is a nuclear medicine treatment for an overactive thyroid, a condition called hyperthyroidism, and also may be used to treat thyroid cancer.
