Greece has the potential to be a protagonist in the rapidly growing medical tourism industry, as it has a number of advantages that allow it, such as the comparatively low cost of services, combined with the high-level scientific competence and experience of medical staff, along with modern health infrastructures. The development of health tourism also has many great benefits for the residents of other countries as it can provide them with an important framework of remarkable choices for their health».
