ARGO TRAVEL proudly participated in Arabian Travel Market Dubai (May 16-19, 2021), the first major travel show since the global outbreak of COVID-19. Physically held in the Gulf Region’s undisputed travel epicenter – Dubai – the show presented a unique opportunity for travel professionals from across the world to meet in person for the first time in 14 months, to exchange views and to get up to speed with the latest health protocols across the globe.
Most importantly, ARGO TRAVEL had the opportunity to present our latest products and services, carefully designed to meet not only the health challenges posed by the pandemic, but also the intricate requirements of travelers from the Middle East. Without a doubt, Greece remains a very popular destination in the Gulf Region for a number of reasons:
- Quality of services
- Destination diversity
- History & culture
- Openness to incoming tourism (coupled with the advantageous health protocols)
- Niche travel services
It is worth mentioning that medical travel proves to be a prominent form of travel from the Middle East as it combines sought-after health services with leisure. That said, ARGO TRAVEL’s bespoke health treatment packages including but not limited to check-up, dental and cosmetic services, caused quite a sensation during the show as they couple high-end medical facilities and world-acclaimed medical professionals with some of the most desired destinations globally: Attica, the Cyclades and the Peloponnese.
Mr. Stratis Voursoukis, COO, represented ARGO TRAVEL at ATM Dubai and reiterated ARGO TRAVEL’s commitment towards endorsing new destinations across Greece by pioneering new products and services carefully targeted at up-and-coming markets. We are convinced that such niche travel services like medical travel will further-establish destination Greece as a first-class 365-day destination and help boost the domestic tourist industry’s recovery.
