In this important scientific meeting, experts and stakeholders of Tourism, Health and Local Government from Greece unite their voices and expertise in the context of the national effort we are making to promote Greek Health Tourism, as the Greek Health Tourism Council (ELITOUR), Global Doctors’ Hippocratic Institute (GDHI) and the Athens Medical Association with the support of the Region of Eastern Macedonia and Thrace, the Medical School of DUTH, the Medical Associations of Athens and Evros and the Municipality of Alexandroupolis.

Thermal Tourism and Fertility Tourism constitute a capital part of Greek Health Tourism, attracting increasing international interest from all corners of the world, thanks to the excellence, successes and international distinctions of Greek scientists. In a year when worldwide Health Tourism is booming after the health ordeal of the pandemic, the Greek Health Tourism Council (ELITOUR) is joining forces with the country and the expatriate medical world for the successful promotion of Greek Health Tourism on the world map, promoting the field of Assisted Reproduction and Thermal Tourism. The Greek Health Tourism Council (ELITOUR) has decided to dedicate, highlight and promote each year its own sectors of Health Tourism, with actions in Greece and abroad. In 2023 it was dedicated to Assisted Reproduction and in 2024 to Thermal Tourism.
