Metropolitan College’s Faculty of Hospitality and Tourism Management was the winner of the Gold Award in the Greek Hospitality Awards 2021. This is the 6th year in a row that the Faculty of Hospitality and Tourism Management receives the Gold Award and the title of the “Best Hotel Education Provider” in Greece.
This distinction highlights the high quality University programmes of study in Tourism and Hospitality ,delivered in partnership with the distinguished British Universities, Oxford Brookes and Queen Margaret, as well as, the world’s 1st Hospitality School, Ecole hôtelière de Lausanne.
Metropolitan College’s Faculty of Hospitality and Tourism Management 6th Gold Award is also a recognition for its state-of-the-art Tourism labs – that simulate real working environments of the hospitality industry – the pioneering education methods of the academic team and the great practice placement and networking opportunities it offers to all students during their studies.
This exceptional distinction, also highlights Metropolitan College’s stability, consistency and quality as a pioneering leader at tourism studies. Additionally, it was added to the five previous awards, with which Metropolitan College was awarded in the Greek Hospitality Awards 2016, 2017, 2018, 2019 and 2020.
Ms.Pigi Mantzouratou, Career, Placement & Development Manager & Year Tutor (Athens Campus) of the (BA) International Hospitality and Tourism Management attended the Award Ceremony and received the award on the part of Metropolitan College.
The ceremony took place in a specially designed Conference Room at Divani Apollon Palace & Thalasso Hotel, in the presence of high-profile personalities and leaders from the greek Tourism industry and the political scene.
