Establishment of New Tourism SME Enterprises
The Action Supporting the Establishment and Operation of New Small and Medium-Sized Tourism Enterprises will be implemented with funds from the “Competitiveness” Program 2021 – 2027 and concerns the strengthening of tourism entrepreneurship through the creation of new micro, small and medium-sized enterprises in the tourism sector, in order to establish new tourism enterprises that will offer high quality, internationally competitive products and services, the extension of the tourist season with the development of new forms of tourism and the development of new business models. The subsidized budget for each investment project ranges from €80 000 to €400 000 with a subsidy of 45% of the eligible costs. Eligible are investments for:
- Hotels – Classification in category 4**** and above Capacity 12 beds and above.
- Hotel tourist accommodation within traditional buildings provided for in Decree 33/1979
- Organized tourist camping Classified in category 3*** and above.
- Self-serving accommodation – tourist furnished houses Minimum number of houses 3 in the same MHTE mark.
- Furnished rooms for rent – apartments Classified in category 4 keys and above with a minimum capacity of 12 beds.
Establishment of New SME Enterprises
The eligible budget will range from €30 thousand to €400 thousand in the manufacturing sector and from €15 thousand to €100 thousand in the trade and services sector with a subsidy of 45% of the eligible costs. The Action, Supporting the Establishment and Operation of New Small and Medium Enterprises, is also implemented with funds from the Competitiveness Program 2021 – 2027 and concerns the strengthening of entrepreneurship through the creation of new micro, small and medium-sized enterprises in selected activities of all sectors of the economy, except catering, retail.
In both programs the basic eligible costs are the following:
- Buildings, Facilities
- Machinery – Equipment
- Software
- Supply/use of software
- ISO 9001 & 14000
- Studies and Consulting Services
- Costs of promotion and outreach
- Transport electrical means
- Indirect costs – 7% over the budget
