With the use of innovative surgical techniques (Minimal Invasive Surgery- MIS) and a specialized protocol of pharmaceutical treatment before, during and after surgery, we are able to perform in Greece total arthroplasties WITHOUT blood transfusion.

Total Hip Arthroplasty

Total hip arthroplasties are performed using MIS posterior approaches and without the use of redon postoperatively. More importantly, there is no need for blood transfusion during surgery, which reduces the danger of disease transmissions and allergy reactions. The patient is expected to walk the day right after the surgery and to leave the clinic in 4 days.

Total Knee Arthroplasty

Total knee arthroplasties are performed using the system of PSI (Patient Specific Instrument) which permits totally personalized operation programming according to the needs of each patient. In addition, there is no placement of tourniquet and no blood transfusion during and after surgery. The patient is expected to walk the day right after the surgery and to leave the clinic in 4 days.
