Dr. Ioannis Chatzistefanou MD, PhD, aFACS

Certified Maxillo-Facial Surgeon

Dr. Ioannis Chatzistefanou is a certified Maxillofacial surgeon, with a special interest in Face and Jaw Aesthetic & Reconstructive Surgery. During his training he gained broad experience in face and jaw surgery in some of the top health care systems worldwide (University of Maryland, USA, University College London UCLH, UK, etc.)

Dr. Chatzistefanou is Lieutenant Colonel in Hellenic Army Medical Corps and serves as a maxillofacial consultant at the 424 Military Hospital in Thessaloniki, Greece. He also part time Honorary Faculty Member at the Medical school of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki with special interest the maxillofacial / head & neck oncology and reconstruction. Dr. Chatzistefanou is the director of the 2nd Maxillofacial Department of the Athens Medical Group, one of the most distinguished private health care providers in Greece.

He has been awarded the “EXCELLENCE AWARD” of the Deanery of Health Sciences of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki and specializes in facial 3D design and computer-guided surgery (IPS – Individual Patient Solutions).

Comprehensive Aftercare

Our commitment to each patient doesn’t end upon completion of its treatment. You will be:

• provided with detailed post-procedure aftercare instructions and follow-up appointments to ensure proper healing and satisfaction.
• granted all necessary medical records (e.g. a medical statement summarizing your treatment, relevant radiologic evaluation, features of dental implants and/or dental prosthesis).
• given all relevant contact details to enable you to call us if any problems arise.

Pricing policy & Health Insurance Coverage

At O.M.S. Implant and Dental Center, we believe in reasonable and affordable pricing of your services, without degrading our quality standards of care.

We accept a wide range of credit cards and private insurance providers. However, if you don’t have coverage from private insurance for dental services, we reassure you that you will be informed about the cost of your treatment plan before starting. An online consultation will help us defining the average cost.
