GENIOPLASTY
Genioplasty is a specialized aesthetic and/or functional surgical procedure aimed at improving the shape, size, and projection of the lower jaw, with the goal of achieving a more harmonious facial appearance and better balance of facial proportions. It is mainly chosen due to asymmetry or disproportion between the chin and the nose. It can be performed either by advancing the chin (advancement genioplasty), by reducing it in cases of an overprojected chin, or by using silicone implants to enhance volume.
The most common technique is bony osteotomy (sliding genioplasty), where controlled repositioning of the lower jawbone is performed to achieve the desired aesthetic result. The procedure is usually done under general anesthesia, through an incision inside the mouth (intraorally), resulting in no visible external scars.
The goal of genioplasty is to improve the profile and overall facial symmetry by enhancing the mandibular contour and achieving a more balanced aesthetic outcome. Recovery is generally well tolerated; potential swelling and bruising peak in the first few days and gradually subside within 2–3 weeks. Most patients return to their daily activities within a few days, while full stabilization of the result requires several months. Diet is initially limited to soft foods, and meticulous oral hygiene is advised to prevent infections.
Overall, genioplasty offers a natural and long-lasting result, enhancing self-confidence and overall facial harmony — which is why it remains a popular choice for those seeking a meaningful yet balanced aesthetic transformation.

FACELIFT
Facelift is one of the most comprehensive and effective procedures for restoring the youthful morphology of the face and neck. It targets not only the correction of skin laxity but – more importantly – the repositioning and lifting of the deeper tissue layers (SMAS/platysma), restoring the natural anatomical contours that have changed over time. Through discreet incisions around the ear, the underlying tissues are elevated and stabilized, excess skin is removed, and the contour of the face and neck is redefined. Facelift is chosen by patients who seek overall rejuvenation, correction of lower-face laxity, redefinition of the jawline angle, and a natural result without altering facial expression. It can be combined with genioplasty.
Recovery is gradual. Possible swelling and bruising decrease significantly within the first 10–14 days, and most patients return to their social activities within 2 weeks. A feeling of tightness or mild numbness in the area is expected and gradually subsides as the tissues heal. The result follows the anatomical lines of the face, providing a more youthful and refreshed appearance without an “artificial” look. For the appropriate candidate — typically individuals with visible laxity and volume loss in the lower third — facelift is the most effective surgical solution for a true, long-lasting aesthetic rejuvenation.

SUBMENTAL LIPOSUCTION
Submental liposuction is a complementary and often decisive intervention for improving the contour of the lower jaw, as it removes the excess submental fat that blurs the neck angle and accentuates the appearance of laxity. It can be performed alone in younger patients with good skin elasticity, but it is ideally combined both with genioplasty, when simultaneous enhancement or projection of the chin is required for a harmonious profile, and with facelift surgery, where it contributes to detailed neck contouring and the achievement of a clean, more defined angle between the face and the neck.
The combination of techniques is determined individually, taking into account skin quality, the location and volume of fat, and the degree of laxity. In selected patients, the synergy of these interventions offers a complete, stable, and entirely natural result, with clearly improved symmetry and a more youthful structure in the lower third of the face.
