The New Year’s cake-cutting ceremony of the Greek Health Tourism Council – ELITOUR and the Global Doctors’ Hippocratic Institute was held in an exceptionally friendly and cordial atmosphere by the President of both organizations and President of the Athens Medical Association, Dr. George Patoulis. The event was hosted at the restaurant Best in Kato Petralona.
During the event, Dr. Patoulis exchanged warm New Year’s wishes with the members of the Boards of Directors of ELITOUR and the Global Doctors’ Hippocratic Institute, expressing his gratitude for their continuous contribution, cooperation, and support in promoting Health and Wellness Tourism.
In his address, the President underscored the strategic importance of strengthening Greece as a country of health and longevity, noting that Health and Wellness Tourism constitutes a key pillar of sustainable development and the country’s international visibility. As he characteristically stated, ELITOUR, in close cooperation with the World Hippocratic Institute of Physicians, can and will contribute decisively to the achievement of this national objective.
The event concluded in a climate of optimism and unity, with a shared commitment to the continuation of initiatives that promote health, wellness, and longevity, highlighting Greece as a point of reference on the international map of Health Tourism.
